I've been traveling the backroads of this country with my family my whole life. A highlight for me has always been stopping in the truck stops and raiding the discount CD (used to be cassette) bin for the perfect road trip tunes. Well, here we are on the cusp of another backroads adventure and my head is already on the music. Though it may not be the desire to kill your laundry...we are all experiencing some challenges about now. This is the time we our brain really begins to recognize that we mean business! How is that manifesting in your life today?

How did the nothing challenge manifest itself in your life today?

Today I baked Black Walnut Cookies for a dear old friend who has inspired me with her nuggets of wisdom and encouragement for years. BUT she lives in another state, soooo...my plan is to deliver them to my neighbor who I read on Facebook is just not having a great go of it this week. I have no idea what is wrong, but I figured just knowing that somebody cared (and came with a little sugar therapy) might just give her a little boost today. So tell me, what did you bake or how did you do something nice for somebody today? Pictures and recipes are totally encouraged :-D

Was it as hard for you as it was for me? Good golly Miss Molly, my brain was firing off like the fireworks in the video. What do you do to calm the voices in YOUR head?

I saw this on Pinterest earlier today..."your life only gets better when you do. Work on yourself and the rest will follow." I can only imagine that everyone reading this post can think of at least one area of their life where they would like to see improvement, right? Excellent, me too! What if today's version of me isn't strong enough mentally, physically, or emotionally to keep a hold of it? Wouldn't we want to ensure that we are prepared to catch that blessin' with a stronger, more capable version of ourselves?
