" I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight. "
OK not so intellectual but always makes me laugh. From the Devil Wears Prada.
Buster Keaton classics
Victor Borge (not a film but so funny)
On a Clear Day You Can See Forever with Barbara Streisand. It was one of the first movies my sister and I saw in the theater. I was an 8 year old quiet, girlie girl in 1970. It was larger than life, the music, the glamour, the love story and the comedy, it just left a mark. Another favorite is Funny Girl for much the same reasons but one of my favorite quotes comes from this one - Fanny Brice: [looking in the mirror] "Hello, gorgeous" but you have to hear it in her Brooklyn accent, it's perfection. I loved all her movies as a little girl and still do to this day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RU9O0cD4OAQ
Not directed at you or anyone here, just has to be one of the BEST ever movie quotes: "Frankly my dear, I don't give a ......" There are so many, I'll just get this party started.
